Sound Clip: Safer is Better by Margaret Noble
This is the first track on the upcoming album, Frakture, which is a soundscape remix of George Orwell’s novel, 1984. Instrumentation includes analogue synth and sampled live drums. Field recordings include protests, propaganda, warning alarms, NYSE stock exchange, dice rolling, camera flashes, pesticide spraying and a vinyl recording of Orwell’s text.

Make sure you have your sub-woofer on for maximum effect. “Safer is Better” is a great piece, I like your use of breakbeats and swirling sounds.
great idea, great results so far – very promising
Awesome stuff!
A great balance of maturity and swagger. Surprisingly cohesive.
I would gladly donate money BUT I have *never* heard of kickstarter and I do not at all like the idea using my amazon account information for a 3rd party I have never heard of before on their branded website.
I use my paypal account for situations like this because is it isolated from any other use. If you can accept paypal donations in the future I will help.

Hi Chris!!!
Thanks for writing. I can see why you might find the Kickstarter site a pain. I just liked them because they are all or nothing and have had many great and positive press write ups.
It is very generous that you would like to donate. Please feel free to use paypal to my email:
margaretnoble2000@yahoo.com
I will honor all the rewards stated on the Kickstarter site just the same.
THANK YOU!!!
Sincerely,
Margaret
Hi Margaret – I sent a paypal donation to you. I actually deleted my kickstarter account.
Have a good weekend!
Chris
Excellent track!
There is another promo of this project that previews an additional track which is made from surveillance cameras, commercials and news reports on the international public radio site, Art On Air.

really imaginative and musically satisfying soundscape. the tie-in to 1984 is excellent.
