Sounds Like Leigh is composer William Cheshire’s ongoing project to record the obvious and not-so-obvious sounds of his home town – Leigh-on-Sea. It stands as a platform for the sounds people may hear, or imagine to hear, on a day to day basis. The first landmark for the project will be a sound installation at this year’s Village Green Festival (Chalkwell Park, Essex).
