Glass, eh um, I mean plexi-glass kalimba. Looking good and sounding good. A nice fit for my misfit collection of instruments and such…

I bought this on ebay, it was made by David Bellinger. He sounds like a nice man on the demo recording of my “one of a kind, solid plexi-glass RK444 Kalimba in G major.”

Audio clip 1 is the original posting with David Bellinger’s voice.

Audio clip 2 is a response to a comment that recommended I put up an instrumental version (please give it a minute to get going).

  1. Me says:

Its nice, but add an instrumental version (a version with just the glass kalimba)

  2. Margaret says:

Indeed, you are right, I need to get on that! For now though, I thought it was kind of sweet to hear Mr. Bellinger’s voice describing the instrument he made. More soon!

  3. Margaret says:

And here is a quickie recording made with the glass kalimba titled “Distopia” (see second sound clip in posting).
